The Believer’s Path

The Believers PathThe Believer’s Path

Will the believer’s path provide you a life without problems? If you listen to some of the secular preachers today, you would think so. They are promising a “river of roses” and delivering deception instead.

Today, more than ever, we need to go back to the message as originally presented by Yeshua. A message that challenged you and I to be different through our belief, effort, wisdom and dedication.

Effort

It takes no effort to adapt to this world or to go with the flow. No effort is required to conform to a sinful life. In fact, it takes no effort to accept sin. It takes no effort to be in your nature. This is the reason why people who preach the “no effort” gospel succeed.

If you love me, you will keep my commands;

John 14:15

Wisdom

Likewise, it takes no wisdom to follow the culture of the world. The believer’s path requires wisdom to avoid the man-made rules and traditions. This wisdom requires you to not be conformed by the world that surrounds you.

It takes no wisdom to live a robotic christian life. This is the reason why people who preach the “no wisdom” gospel have churches filled-up with empty people.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Proverbs 9:10

Dedication

A dedicated believer is a believing believer. Someone who focuses on the words of Yeshua as they were presented. The believer’s path requires you to believe all of the time. It takes dedication to stay on the narrow path. It takes dedication to avoid the distractions of this world. This is why it is much easier to preach processes and procedures that tell you what to do or don’t.

This is the reason why the secular church followers do not read and meditate on the Scriptures day and night. It takes dedication.

turn from evil, and do good; seek peace, go after it!

Psalm 34:15

We can observe that many organizations today are focused on money and a lite preaching that is not offensive or challenging. A preaching that do not require effort, wisdom, dedication or transformation.

What YESHUA called us to do?

He called us to not conform to this world but to be transformed to his likeness. So, the love Yeshua presented was not a “love” that left people where they were. Instead, it was a transformative love. The simplicity of the bible requires the believer to be transformed. In practical terms, this means to be born again. Essentially, to be a new person. That means, new values, new habits, new desires and new commitments.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Romans 12:2

But, HOW? You Ask.

In his perfect exemple, YESHUA resisted the powers of darkness in the wilderness. We were called to do the same. Not with our own words, but with the LORD’s words. For you to be able to do that, you must know the LORD’s words.

“If YESHUA did, do it. If YESHUA didn’t do it, don’t do it.”

The Secular Church

The distorted and fake gospel the secular church preaches, is not the gospel of YESHUA. As such, we must resist it’s temptations. It is probable that this fake gospel will continue and it will become more and more popular. The unfortunate reality is that the secular church will most likely align itself with the antichrist. They will preach that taking the mark of the beast is ok. They are dangerous and nothing more than the mouthpieces of satan. Don’t fall for it. Resist. You must not allow your mind and heart to be infected with evil. Even if evil comes dressed in light.

The Blind Leading The Blind

The secular preachers are very easy to spot. Their lives, words and fruits review them. These people are blind by choice and they don’t believe in anything but their own opinions and philosophies. They are drunk in their understanding and the poison they spread will be their downfall.

For the eyes of Adonai move here and there throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong on behalf of those who are wholehearted toward him. You acted foolishly in this regard; for from now on, you will have war.”

2 chronicles 16:9

The Solution

After YESHUA fasted for 40 days and 40 nights, he went to the desert. He was hungry and physically weak. There he resisted the devil with the words of HaShem. Matthew 4:1-11 and Luke 4:1-13 recorded this historical event.  But, a major result of this passage was reviewed on verse 14 of Luke.

Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit

Luke 4:14

When YESHUA left, he left in the power of the Holy Spirit strong. This was his exemple to us on how to go from weakness to strength.

YESHUA clang to the word of God and resisted the devil’s fake interpretations of scriptures. And the power of HaShem was perfected on him. That’s the power that gives strength.

Conclusion

It’s easy to think that our best days are behind us. After all, that’s what the world tells us all day long – Out with the old, In with the new. Don’t forget, the eyes of the Lord are towards the righteous.

Yeshua’s first miracle was to turn water into wine. The first wine presented was considered by man to be the best earthly wine. But, the wine served last was the result of YESHUA’s transformative power. His wine was the best wine. This is prophetic to us.

You may think that your best days were during your teenage years. But, in reality, the Lord wants to transform you to make this time your best time. He wants you to look forward to a 2021 that is amazing and beyond your greatest expectations. BUT, for that to happen, you must let him transform you. You must repent, surrender, and choose to re-dedicate your life to him.

Set your eyes back on him. Your efforts, wisdom and dedication will be rewarded.
